Applications
Used across ethanol plants and biofuel production for starch liquefaction, viscosity reduction and improved fermentable sugar yield, particularly in corn, wheat and cassava mash processing. In brewing and rice wine production, alpha‑amylase supports controlled starch hydrolysis in barley, rice and other cereal mashes, improving filtration rates and extract efficiency. Bakeries use medium‑temperature and high‑temperature powder grades in bread improvers to optimize dough handling and crumb structure consistency. In fruit juice, plant extraction and feed milling, selected grades assist with starch breakdown, filtration performance and feed digestibility while maintaining process stability at scale.
